Dreams Come True with STLCASA

CASA of St. Louis (STLCASA) welcomed more than 250 supporters to The Chase Park Plaza Hotel for our annual Foster the Future Gala on Friday, April 26, 2019.

This always popular event is the single largest annual fundraiser for STLCASA, supporting the important work we do representing their best interests in court and in the community. Guests enjoyed an evening of food and fun, all while supporting fostered youth. Between ticket sales, sponsorships and a raffle, the event raised more than $245,000 to support fostered youth in St. Louis City and County.

There were many notable moments, including the announcement that Voices for Children is changing our name to CASA of St. Louis. Bob Edwards received an award as the CASA of the Year, Clint Zweifel and Janice Smith shared their touching story about their experiences with their CASA volunteer and how their family was formed with the adoption of two beautiful daughters. SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital program for Fostering Healthy Kids was recognized for their work to serve the medical needs of children in foster care with an acceptance by Dr. Timothy Kutz, and of course the wonderful entertainment provided by our own Assistant Director, County CASA, Tammie Powell-Williamson!.

We would like to share our sincere appreciation with everyone for their support of our "Dream a Little Dream" gala and your commitment to advocate for abused and neglected children and youth in St. Louis by representing their best interests in court and in the community. The evening video has been posted on our website. Here is a link to enjoy it and share with anyone who may be interested in learning more about CASA of St. Louis' work.

Thank you again! The Team at CASA of St. Louis
