Join CASA in ensuring children are safe and have the opportunity to thrive!
Here’s how to get started:
1. Review the CASA Volunteer Service Description
2. Participate in an Information Session to learn more about the CASA role and upcoming session dates.
3. Complete and submit an Online Application. Applications may be submitted in advance of the information session to begin processing.
As part of the application you will be asked to submit three personal references as well as a 500 word autobiography telling us about yourself and what influenced your decision to become a CASA. The online application cannot be saved. Once you begin the application it must be completed at that time.
4. Upon receipt of your online application, a member of our staff will be in contact regarding next steps including submitting to a background screening and an interview with a member of our staff.
Once accepted into the program, volunteers must complete all pre-service training prior to being sworn in and assigned to a child! Please see below for the dates of our upcoming pre-service training.

Pre-Service Training Schedule
CASA pre-service training consists of five sessions and online work done in advance of each session. Attendance at each session and completion of the online modules is required. Our upcoming training dates and application deadlines are listed below.
Please note, due to continued recommendations for social distancing, our upcoming training cycles will be held virtually.

Online Training begins/ Pre-service Training Orientation session on
Thursday, January 19 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
*No Class on Thursday, February 23
Submission of application by deadline does not guarantee participation in pre-service training. All requirements of the application must be met for consideration including receiving results from the background screening, references, and completion of in-person screening interview. It is recommended to submit your application early to ensure timeliness of processing.
