The work of our staff, board and volunteers touch the lives of our region's most vulnerable citizens every day. We credit our compassion, strength and empathy to our team of game changers and dream creators.
Our dedicated team of child advocacy attorneys, social work professionals and support staff, serves nearly 950 children and youth and supervises over 250 CASA volunteers.
As the only Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA Volunteer) member program in St. Louis City and County, our CASA volunteers offer a stable voice on behalf of the regions 1,700 children and youth in foster care.
The National CASA Association is a membership organization that supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy programs like STLCASA so every abused or neglected child in the United States can be safe, have a permanent home and the opportunity to thrive.

Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteers are appointed by the courts to advocate for children placed into foster care, speaking up for them in the court and community, facilitating services ordered by the courts, gathering information, recommending services, monitoring case plans and court orders and reporting back to the courts and others as to whether or not the child(ren) best interests are being met.
Guardian ad Litems (GALs)
Our team of Child Advocacy Attorneys provide legal representation as the Guardian ad Litem (GAL) for child victims in foster care and supervise our CASA volunteers in the delivery of high quality advocacy to abused and neglected children placed into foster care due to abuse and/or neglect under the jurisdiction of the Family Court of the City of St. Louis
Social Work Professionals
Our Social Work Professionals guide and work alongside CASA volunteers in the delivery of high quality advocacy to abused and neglected children in foster care. Their support and supervision ensures that all children assigned to our organization receive sound advocacy and proactive permanency planning.
Our invaluable team of support staff include our Administrative and HR, Finance & Reporting, Development and Engagement professionals.
