On Thursday, July 19, Voices for Children was named alongside 36 local St. Louis nonprofits, service providers and organizations awarded funds from the Saint Louis Mental Health Board (MHB) during their FY19-21 Community Children's Services Partnership Celebration. MHB administers public funds on behalf of the residents of the City of St. Louis for behavioral health and children’s services.Read More

Last year we were privileged to serve 944 children and supervise more than 250 CASA Volunteers!

As you read this, there are nearly 2,000 children living in foster care in St. Louis City and County because they were hurt by their parents or others – hurt by those people who were supposed to cherish them. For them, there will be no red-white-and-blue ribbons tied to their bikes for the neighborhood parade, flag flying in the neighbor’s yard or spinning sparklers toward the hot afternoon sky.Read More
CASA volunteers are asked to meet with the child regularly and are authorized to interview people in the child’s life such as social workers, attorneys, and teachers.Read More
This June, we celebrate the important accomplishments of parents and the many professionals, including Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs), who work on getting children home safe after they’ve been in the foster care system. It's Child Advocates' goal to make sure children are supported with a CASA and have what they need to move forward in a positive path, when reunifying with their family.Read More
